HFLA is a proud supporter of the Filipino Veterans and Recognition Project.  In a ceremony to be held at the Filcom Center in Waipahu on May 6, 2018 at 4pm, Filipino-American WWII soldiers who served the U.S. and the Philippines from July 1941 to December 1964 will be awarded the Congressional Gold Medal in recognition of their service.
