Please join us for our 2018 Family Day!  This year we will be hiking the Manana trail in Pearl City followed by a potluck BBQ at board member Will Tungol's home.  Will (and his family) have been kind enough to open their home to us for a second straight year!  Details are as follows:  

When:  Sunday, July 8th, 2018

Time:    8:15-8:30 a.m. meet in front of Will's home.  BBQ will start once we return from the hike around 11:00/11:30 a.m.

What:  Manana Trail Hike  (The trail head is 5 minutes from Will’s house.  The trail to the waterfall is about 1.5 hours.  The ridge trail for advanced hikers is 6 miles one way.  This is a family friendly event and hike.  For more information, see links below.)

Potluck BBQ (sign up): 

If you cannot join us for the hike, please join us for the potluck BBQ at Will’s home.  HFLA will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken and water.  Please sign up with your potluck items here: (Coordinator Last Name:  Domingo and Password:  HFLA2018)

Parking:  Parking around the trail head and in the neighborhood gets crowded around 8:30 a.m. due to the popularity of this hiking trail.  Please plan accordingly and arrive early to park as close as possible to the Will’s house or the hiking trail.
