COST:        $50.00 for members and guests

We will hold elections for our 2019 Board of Directors at the meeting. Please email jessicadomingo26@gmail.com if you are interested in serving as a HFLA officer or board member or if you want to nominate a person to serve on the board.

 This year’s keynote speaker is Amefil "Amy" Agbayani. Ms. Agbayani was appointed to be the first chair of the Hawai‘i Civil Rights Commission, served as Chair of the Hawai‘i Judicial Selection Commission, co-chair of Governor Abercrombie’s campaign , and elector for President Obama in 2008. She has received awards from the YWCA, Patsy T. Mink PAC, the Filipino Community Center, and honored by the Honpa Hongwanji Mission as a “Living Treasure.”   Currently, she is co-chair of Hawai’i Friends of Civil Rights and a board member of a new group, The Legal Clinic (TLC for immigrants).
